Tuck the floor inside the cone before folding?
    or was there another way?
Zipped up, connected and then nothing else.
No poking it anywhere if you follow the Tentipi way of folding the tent up. It just works.

I don't have the dimensions on me, but it would just about big enough for the bike I think. Almost on the point of too big though.
Personally I'm on the look out for a 7 or 5 for bike use.

It's 70cm x 27cm and 13Kg. To get that in perspective the Khyam biker is 60cm x 20cm and 7Kg so not massively different size wise. The tent just fits in an ortlieb 59l drybag across the panniers and rear seat with about 10cm to spare each side. However on the other hand my 3 man Coleman fits in the bottom of one of my panniers so quite a bit smaller.

As Dave says it is a bit big though for one but that may not stop me taking it to the National to induce some tent envy.

Out of interest the 7 man is the same thickness at 27cm and the length only drops to 62cm so not a great saving. The five is a good bit smaller packed (and inside) at 23cm x 56cm so comparable with the biker.

Just remembered I took a couple of photos of the 9 man on the back of my Varadero

    and

The floor was also packed in the same bag.

With the wife on the back as well i think the 9 might be a tad too big lol.I have a transalp 700 but also want to camp with the car as well so trying to find one tent to do both.
Am liking the 7 at the mo...sure i could just take the top-box off the bike and then strap the tent,S\Fmats and sleeping bags onto the top-box plate while still having room for the wife and rest of kit in the panniers.
