Well may be not as big as you perhaps.
    Whealie has something similar.
I have looked at these, but a bit out of my price range, I was looking at the tarpaulin from our local cheap shop at £7.99 3.5 x 3.0 mtrs and using the the porch poles off our big tent and four guy ropes through the eyelets in the corners.

I was hoping it would work.

    Maybe too heavy?

To be honest that probably is just the job, but as you say the material would be heavier no doubt, but if the poles are substantial enough and it's well secured with guy ropes then shouldn't be a problem.

That was one of my thoughts as well. If you do give it a try do post back with the results and some photos.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

Will do. The first time I will use it is end of June, but I will hopefully have time to try it out in the garden.

    Regards

I got this one from Milletts for £19.99 i think it's only 2x2 metres or somet though...

4 of us sat under it no problem though and it was adequate enough keeping the sun off... I contemplated just gettinga tarp from B&Q so would be interested to know if that pans out.

dont know if this will be of any interest to you...

I have just secured a deal to buy a roll of top quality military spec HD ripstop fabric at very good price (the roll is long! ) its largely going to be used to manufacture all our own rally team stuff (right through from clothing to dry bags, motorcycle seat covers, tank bags, tents etc etc).. spec is lightweight (but not gossamer) 160gms/mtr ripstop, its latex coated on the back (white) so it's waterproof and the coating is breathable, this fabric is normally £5 +vat per sq/mtr to the trade.

colour is royal blue (i will post up a pic of a drybag)... I can machine up a cover in any length with a 120" width (3 meter) for £16 per meter... eg a 3x3mtr would be £48 and 3x2m £32, This would include reinforced corners with tape and eye holes and a ridge tape again with eye holes at each end... all you would then need is some cord and poles or attach it to a couple of trees(that said i do have HD 3mtr aluminum telescopic poles available from £14 each!)

You should get a awning pole for this end though. That bloke in the dungarees will soon get fed up with it fixed to his hat.
