I saw them a bit back and couldn't find much info,

they look like copies if the Khyam Flashtouch range, although the Khyam Scafell 400 (4 berth) is only £81 direct from Khyam HERE shame they don't do a 3 berth.

the Slummit says it has a 3000 HH whereas the Khyam is 2500, don't know whether that would make much difference.

if you get one be sure to post a review on here

They look ok for the money in the pics but close up (best in the video) they do look a bit lightweight to the Khyam version.

This company has real identity issues, anyone that is that paranoid about keeping the company details secret would put me off even considering dealing with them! after a bit of a hunt I tracked them down to a cottage in Wales, again this dosent instill confidence in a buyer (I notice even on their ebay store they do not say who the business is which is against ebay trading rules).

Another issue is the guarentee is a bit swiss cheese, not saying they wouldnt honour any tent but there are so many exclusions that it wouldnt be hard to weasel their way out if they wanted.... if you make a decient product and stand by what you sell you dont need backdoor cop outs in small writing.

    Shame really.

I saw a tent in Costco last week that had what looked like a copy of the Khyam rapidex pole system. It was only around £40 I think. I'm off there this morning and I'll take a closer look if it's still there.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

I had a look and it's a LightSpeed Tents : Tent Details - Logic 2 person tent Looked OK for a £40 tent but with a HH of only 1500 is really only a summer tent. The other thing that struck me on the one they had pitched (but not pegged) is there wasn't a lot of space between the flysheet and the inner so they might touch in windy conditions which causes problems with condensation and drips.

It packed down reasonably well for a pre rigged tent

Well, after taking into consideration the various comments, and "humming and haahing", thought i'd give one a go

placed a couple of offers on their ebay shop and secured one for £80. Will be here in the week, so when i get a chance i will put it up and take some pics and my initial thoughts etc.

The contact / progress from them via ebay has been spot on so far.

Will keep you up to date..........................................

    tent arrived today.

Pitch black, but could resist having a quick go. WOW

    the lazy prsons tent

Really does take 10 - 20 seconds to get the main tent up

Pole for front porch was a bit more fidly, but still quick.

Fist thoughts looks great and feel great quality. Mechanism works very well. Compared to my Vango Alpha 200 its ENORMOUS - but good for family get aways (theres only 3 of us and my wifes small anyway).

so far so good, will write up a proper review and pics hopefully over the weekend when i can pitch it properly.

hi i recently bought one of these used it for the 1st time this weekend ,one of the tags that holds the pole at the corner of the tent came off straight away ,the hooks on the ground sheet/grass protector fell off, luckily i was able to jerry rig the tent so i could use it,does go up very quickly must admit ,but due to the large mesh areas in the tent when the temp plummits so does the tent temp ! ,first time ever i,ve woken up freezing at 2 am when camping ,had to use a silver thermal type blanket under the sleeping mat ,must admit it lashed it down with rain and it was very windy ,took both of those in its stride ,but again the front porch got very wet totally useless for storing anything in at all ,this was the slummit 3 ,you would have to be very friendly for three people to use it,you would have no wear to store anything once three bodies where sleeping in it !,

    just my hapeth worth
