Outwell Norfolk Lake with a Montana 6 extension?

Hi, am looking for some kind of rain protection for the doorway of my Norfolk Lake. Can't find a side extension as it's discontinued. Just wondered if anyone had tried a Montana 6 extension? I realise it's different fabric but the dimensions appear slightly bigger than the front of the Norfolk. Would it easily anchor on to the Norfolk? Thanks

I know there are quite a few Bear lake 6 owners using the Montana front extension on them , I haven't seen anyone using one on the Norfolk Lake though.You might be able to pick up a side extension second hand but the last one I saw on ebay went for a really good price.

Thanks for this - yes ... I noticed the side extension on Ebay go for £190! Have bitten the bullet & bought a Montana front extension on Ebay. Will let you know how I get on!

Hi - as you can see it did work! Quite happy with the colour match. It will certainly keep the rain out of the open doorway which was the main aim. There is about a metre of extension forward of the pegged out front section of the tent - enough with a wind break to shelter my Beauclaire gas griddle if necessary. probably a bit tight for a fold out picnic bench with chairs but you could roll up the front of the Norfolk to increase the usable area. The straps which clip onto the first upright Norfolk Lake supports are adjustable in length. It's hard to get the canopy over the top of the Norfolk Lake but a broom was just the job (just got to remember to take it camping!) It was probably easier to attach than the proper NL/Arrow extension. All in all Very happy!
