Hi Andy,
Personally, I cook under our tent porch giving about 4ft of clearance, but as far away as I can from the main tent. You need loads of ventilation to get rid of gas fumes but also be carefull of the heat rising and burning/damaging the tent. I've had no problems but I do try to be carefull, and hey, what do I know???
Anybody with more skill/knowledge got any better advice????
