    Default Tent Repair

    Hi.

I got my tent out the other day to check it before my camping trip in 10 days and have found several little holes in it. I'm guessing a mouse or something has got into it. I went to a camp shop this morning to look at the repair kits and the lady suggested using duck tape instead as it would be stronger. Can anyone give me advice as to what I should do please?

    Many thanks
    Jo

I wouldn't consider duct tape as a permanent repair but is does work in an emergency. There is some stuff called tenacious tape that is considered permanent or another alternative is to get some sail repair tape from a chandlers. Now that's really strong.
I went to the zoo recently. The only animal there was a small dog. It was a shihtzu

You can use sail tape for covering the hole of your tent, then peel off the adhesive backing and carefully place the patch on the tent.
Do the same on the other side of the tent directly opposite the first patch.
