    Default Need tent advice

Hi , I realise it's the end of the season but I would appreciate some advice on what brand or brands of tent should look for or avoid. I recently got back into camping when enjoyed a weekend away in my small 2 man Eurohike tent. It was the mrs's first time camping and she enjoyed it so much that she wants to camp for our main holiday during the summer next year. I have seen loads of bargains as it's the end of season but I just don't know what are the quality brands and what are rubbish and best avoided . Opinions please

    Default Tent advice

    Hi Bandulu,

I have been reading a lot about good-bad tents these days and opinions are different. So I made my own wishlist of the good ones, judging the feedbacks.

These tents I find very cheap, easy to assemble and comfortable. Some of these materials are eco-friendly. I didn't choose those with solar panels which hopefully will be cheaper in some time.

I find this pop up very interesting. It's made for 2 persons and very easy to erect. It suits in a bag and weights only 2.5kg so it is great for backpackers, as myself.

If I have to choose I would pick backpacking tent all in one like this! It is great for all seasons, wind, rain, very stable and light.

These choices are mine so you will maybe find better solution for yourself. I think these tents are great value for money and judging by reviews high-quality.

What do you think? What are your experiences with previous tents? I am almost a novice in a camping world, so I am looking to purchase my first tent and looking for advice, too.

    Cheers!

Well in my experience you can't go wrong with Outwell. They aren't the cheapest but they are good quality with some good design features.
Tentipi Safir 9 CP - Keeping us warm in the night.

Khyam Biker - Keeping me dry for the last few years.
