Looks like you're in some pretty "dodgey" company in that field Dave!Nice tent, don't suppose they're available over here though.

Thought I'd post a review for my Khyam Biker tent as starter for ten.
It's an excellent tent and served me really well. It has loads of space for wet biking gear and will comfortably sleep two.
Being a Khyam it erects really quickly, which can be of benefit in the rain!
It also packs down fairly small in a nice bag which makes it easy to transport.
Not a lot to say about it really other than great tent!! Highly recommended by me.

Are the first 2 pics from the first National?
I've had the same tent for about 3 years now and just wanted to say it's stood up to some horrendous weather in that time. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that if you use the side door in heavy rain, opening it lets in a lot of water from the roof of the porch when you get in and out.
I also recomend the Igloo model, smaller porch (still big enough to cook in though) but bigger sleeping area and faster to erect, no pole to thread.
I also have the igloo and it's a very good tent but I prefer my TeePee for general comfort.
i swapped my igloo for the biker a few years ago and for me its got better and worse features (obviously the better outweighed the worse or i wouldnt have bothered, would i)
+1/ the biker has a much bigger porch area for storage and cooking, but
-1/ i wish it was taller so i can sit in it in my camp chair when its raining.
+1/ but you can cook in the dry.
+1/ its quick and easy to put up and take down,
-1/ being bigger its not as quick or easy as the igloo was.
+1/ its got 2 doors in the porch and you can leave the end one open in the rain (roll up the end of the groundsheet!) and water cant get into the inner tent unless its coming down sideways
so in all, its +2 for the biker over the igloo. YEN, the inner tents are the same size but the other way round in the biker, so if you sleep the same way it will feel shorter.
i like my khyam but i may invest in a tipi-a-like one day, i do like the look of all the space and height.
WHOOPS- ive just looked at the igloo after jenna said it has 6 legs, and thats not the one i had before at all! i had the 'eiger' derrrrr............

I mention the Igloo in another post and 'up it pops' here too...
the main plus i see with the igloo is the 6 legs over the bikers 4 plus a hoop, its got to be way more stronger?
I had a chat with Khyam recently over the both models as they now only do them in green and I wanted blue, the up shot is the models are due to be revamped with new colours and a few mods in september for sale at the end of this year.
Bit of back ground on these tents:
The biker is a re-hash with more leg joints of the McKinley. They also changed the door as that had even worse problems with water coming in when it rained.
Khyam is owned/marketed by the Brummy company Eurotech Leisure in the UK (along with a few other brands like wynnster (and i think Karrimore?)... they are owned by the Polish parent company Euromark. Euromark is the owners of Alpinus adventure gear and guess what they sell the biker and igloo amoungst others under that brand....
Eurotech, Khyam, Euromark and Alpinus dont actually make these tents... they are all made in the same factory in Inchon, Korea. This and three other factories are thought to churn out 95% of of all the tents make in the world...
Bajin that own the factory funnily enough have there own brand... its marketed as 'Camptown' and yep you guessed it they make and sell the biker, igloo and others under there own brand!... its worthing noting Bajin hold the patient on the tents legs joint design.
The camptown version of the biker retails at just £92!!
(jenna goes and hides in the corner and waits for the phone call from kyham to be quiet...)
