    Default Newbie needs advice

Hi I am looking to buy my first tent and need some advice.

I have a budget of £250 for the tent itself. I need a tent that I can errect on my own as most of the time I'll only have my 7 year old son to "help" lol.

I would like to have two sleeping areas one of which must be a double to sleep myself and my nipper and the other I would like to use to house my sea fishing tackle.
The living space should be big enough for the pair of us to relax and eat and be able to accomadate a table and a couple of chairs.

I had a look around this morning and saw a couple of Khyam models that I like but then again there were lots of other makes to choose from too.

With so many makes and models that looked like they would fit my requirements I guess it really comes down to reliability and so I'm hoping that you guys will be able to share your knowledge with me.
    Thanks.
    Nick

    hi nick

we have just started out and we went for the urban escape kurai 6 from halfords for me the wife and the 5 years old lad, the latter is the one that helps me.
If its just the 2 of you then they do a 4 man starter pack tent you can get set up for the your budget.

Halfords | Urban Escape 4 Man Tent Pack

i was getting this one but ended up with the kurai as the lad wanted to bring a friend. we have been away twice now and find the urban escape tent great.

I suggest that you should buy Vango Icarus 300 tent since it only cost for £84.99 and you can easily pitch the tent for less than 10 minutes.
