Hi, I hope someone out there has some info on these. I want a tipi type tent to carrie on my bike. I bought a real cheap one from ebay and it is great, but I also know it's not up to continual use. Tentipi are fantastic tents, I have seen quite a few now on camps, but they are far to expensive for me. I have seen these on ebay, Mad Bear Bjorn 4, does anyone have any experience of these. I am looking for something to go touring around France and Spain with, I am not really pressured for weight as we will be going on an outfit, but would like to be able to carrie it on my solo bike when I travel alone.

I had one and it was fine plus never let water in...the cap was a pain to put on and the amount of guy ropes took ages!...... I found it cold though as its a big space to warm up. Plenty of room to sit eat, and every thing else. I used to use a stove in the middle to warm up but its not flame proof so be very carefull indeed. There is however 2 meters either side of the pole and about 8 feet above so not near any fabric. I sold mine as I needed something smaller and quicker for travel but for a few days in one place there great fun.
Oh dear, it's happening again.........do I really need another tent???.........."you see dear"............no, I must resist!!!!
